Today, Saturday, a worker died of his injuries after falling into a ditch next to the road, in the Tahta Police Station, north of Sohag Governorate. The body was transferred to the hospital, and the Public Prosecution office launched investigations.
The warden of the Tahta Police Station received a report of the death of “Fathi A.,” a 57-year-old worker who resided in the village of Al-Jubeirat. His death occurred after he fell into a hole on the side of the road.
A medical examination of the body was carried out by the health inspector, who stated that the cause of death was a sharp drop in blood and respiratory circulation. The investigations of the criminal investigations officers denied the suspicion.
A report was issued on the incident, and the Public Prosecution Office took over the investigations.
