The Governor began his tour by following up what was implemented during the past days in the project to develop the second phase of Farid Nada Street, where the joints on the Military Factory Bridge were opened, in order to treat them before starting the paving works, and the remnants of crumbling asphalt cracking were removed in the area after The Military Factory Bridge towards the Agricultural Road, and preparations are underway for the second area, towards Banha.

Al-Hagan directed work in parallel to paint the body of the tunnel and clean the side walls, stressing the need to quickly complete the restoration work as soon as possible while adhering to the quality of works and technical specifications recognized in paving, as the Saad Zaghloul tunnel is an important traffic hub that contributes to easing congestion.
