Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of Awqaf, confirmed that Tarawih prayers will be performed during the coming month of Ramadan, at the Imam Al-Hussein Bin Ali Mosque, may God be pleased with him, with the recitation of half a part of the Qur’an “Raba’in”, and the great reciters of the Republic will lead the worshipers.
And the Minister of Awqaf said, during the press conference to review the details of the international competition for the Qur’an, today, Saturday, that the matter in Tarawih prayer is for compatibility between the imam and the worshipers without excess or negligence, and the matter has an expansion.
He pointed out that they give a practical response to those who defame the Book of God Almighty, explaining that whenever there is any insult to the Book of God, the number of those looking for the truth increases, stressing that memorizing the Qur’an is one of the meanings that we take from the name of God Almighty.
The Minister of Awqaf said, “We will not be dragged into verbal conflicts, but it will be through serving the Book of God.” He thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the shepherd of the Qur’an and his family, who directed that the rewards for the winners of the competition of people of determination and young people be doubled, and it was raised from 30 to 60 thousand.
