The Israeli occupation forces closed the city of Jerusalem, this evening, Thursday, to secure a march for settlers.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) stated that the occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town of Silwan, the Ras al-Amud neighborhood, and Bab al-Asbat Street, and intensified the deployment of their forces in the streets of occupied Jerusalem to secure a march for settlers. sweet.
Hundreds of settlers performed provocative dances near the Mughrabi Gate, which has been closed to Palestinians since its seizure in 1967, during their implementation of a march that started from the Mughrabi Gate side, passing through the Lions Gate and the Ras al-Amud neighborhood, east of occupied Jerusalem.
On the other hand, the occupation forces closed the Shuafat military camp checkpoint, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces closed the checkpoint after clashes broke out with young men who went out to denounce the crimes of the occupation in Jenin, and the continued detention of the body of the martyr Muhammad Ali, who was killed by the occupation bullets yesterday while confronting the demolition of the house of the martyr Uday al-Tamimi.
In the context, clashes broke out between the young men and the occupation forces at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem, and near the apartheid wall in the village of Beit Ijza, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, during which the occupation soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at citizens’ homes.
In addition, two young men were wounded by live bullets fired by the occupation army during the clashes that erupted in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
Local sources said that two young men were wounded by the occupation’s bullets in the extremities, and were subsequently transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital, and their injuries were described as moderate, while dozens suffocated from tear gas during the ongoing confrontations.
In the context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today that 4 young men were injured, one of them seriously, as a result of being targeted by the Israeli occupation forces with live bullets, during the clashes that erupted at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh.
And the Palestinian Health Ministry stated that a young man was wounded by live bullets in the chest area, and described his condition as serious, while three others were injured in different parts of their bodies, and they were all transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
Clashes erupted between young men and the occupation forces, at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, to condemn the occupation massacre in Jenin and its camp.
Dozens of students from Birzeit University marched towards the “Beit El” military checkpoint, established on citizens’ lands at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, where clashes erupted, during which soldiers fired bullets, tear gas and sound bombs at them.
A Palestinian citizen was also critically injured, during clashes with the occupation forces in Al-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that a critical injury reached the Palestine Medical Complex in the city of Ramallah from the site of the confrontations in the town of Al-Ram, where the occupation forces suppressed a march that took place in the town to condemn the occupation’s aggression and massacre in Jenin Governorate, which led to the death of nine citizens, and the injury of others.
Local sources said that the occupation forces suppressed the march with live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas.
Large masses of the Palestinian people, this evening, buried the bodies of the nine martyrs of Jenin, who were killed by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces during its aggression against Jenin and its camp.
The funeral ceremonies for the martyrs began in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, with a funeral in which thousands of citizens participated, as the bodies of the martyrs were lifted on the shoulders, to the homes of their families in the city of Jenin and its camp, and the towns of Yamoun and Burqin, before praying for them and burying them.
Participants in the funeral processions chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the occupation, and calling for national unity and an end to division.
They also called on the international community to intervene and stand by our defenseless people, who are subjected to continuous Israeli aggression, liquidations and executions.
The marches turned into rhetorical festivals, in which several speeches were delivered, denouncing the crimes of the occupation and its continuous aggression against the people of Jenin, its camp, and the villages and towns of the governorate, stressing that these massacres and terrorism will not discourage the Palestinian people from resisting and confronting the occupation and settlers.
The martyrs are: Saeb Essam Mahmoud Azriqi (24 years old) from Jenin, Izz al-Din Yassin Salahat (26 years old), Abdullah Marwan al-Ghoul (18 years old), Waseem Amjad Aref al-Jaas (22 years old), Magda Obaid (61 years old) from the refugee camp. Jenin;
And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of Youssef Yahya Abdul Karim Muhaisen (22 years old), who succumbed to his injury, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Clashes broke out in the town of Al-Ram after the occupation forces suppressed a march that came out to denounce the occupation’s aggression against the Palestinian people and the massacre it committed in Jenin this morning, which resulted in the death of nine citizens and the injury of others.
Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at the participants in the march in the town of Al-Ram, wounding Muhaisen with a live bullet. He was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where his injury was described as critical, and the doctors later announced his death. succumbed to his injuries.
A Palestinian civilian was wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets, and others suffocated by tear gas during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces at Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus.
Clashes erupted after the occupation suppressed a march launched towards the checkpoint to condemn the massacre committed by the occupation in Jenin this morning, which resulted in the death of nine citizens and the wounding of others.
Settlers threw stones at Palestinian citizens’ vehicles south of Nablus, where they attacked their vehicles with stones at Salman Al-Farsi roundabout in the town of Hawara, which led to damage to a number of them, according to Ghassan Douglas, who is in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank.
Douglas added that a group of settlers tried to attack the village of Madama, south of Nablus, but the villagers confronted it.
In addition, two Palestinian youths were wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, during clashes that erupted near the northern entrance to the city of Jericho.
Medical sources reported that a young man was wounded with live bullets in the foot, and another with rubber-coated metal bullets, during the clashes at the northern entrance to Ariha, describing their condition as moderate.
Clashes also broke out near the southern entrance of Jericho near Aqabat Jaber camp, during which the occupation fired tear gas canisters at the citizens who came out to condemn the occupation massacre in Jenin.
On the other hand, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of the 13-year-old child, Nayef Al-Aweidat, as a result of his serious wounds sustained last year during the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The sources pointed out that the child Al-Aweidat, a resident of the Nusseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, died of his wounds during the bombing of the occupation planes that targeted the Al-Hasayna neighborhood in the camp.
