Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, indicated that the implementation of the luxury housing project “Jannah” is being completed, which includes 280 buildings comprising 6,720 housing units. The head of the 6th of October City Authority noted that the implementation of 134 buildings comprising 3,216 housing units had begun in the middle housing axis as part of the presidential initiative, “the housing of all Egyptians”. The total capacity of the two phases is 800,000 m3/day, explaining that the first phase of the station is operating at full capacity (400,000 m3/day), and after completing the implementation of the ongoing expansions, the station will have a total capacity of one million two hundred thousand m3/day, and it will meet the city’s water needs until the target year 2030. And the second phase of the turbid water outlet in Al-Ayyat and Al-Rafi was completed, and the special parts of the third line (electromechanical works) were completed at a cost of 534 million pounds, within the framework of the state’s plan to achieve targeted development and meet the needs of new urban expansions in the cities of October.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar said that work is underway on the eastern expansion transformer station, with a voltage of 220/22/22 kW. To serve the eastern expansions area of the city with an advanced implementation rate, the transformer station is expected to enter service next April, in addition to the Al-Ayyat electrical transformer station, with a voltage of 66/11 kV, with a capacity of 2×40 MVA, expandable with a third transformer, with a voltage of 66/11 kV. F and its connecting lines, to provide electrical feeding to the turbid water outlet in Al-Ayyat (for the four phases) with the aim of providing water to the cities of October (October 6 – October Gardens – New October) and the Faisal and Al-Haram regions, and it is expected to be completed in June 2023.
