Today, Thursday, the East Mansoura neighborhood, in coordination with the officials of the Mansoura Court of First Instance, removed the concrete barriers in the vicinity of the Mansoura Courts Complex in Dakahlia Governorate, and the movement was completely opened on the Courts Complex Street.
This came after more than 10 years have passed since the street was closed, within the framework of the return to normal life, and concern for the interest of citizens and the public interest.
Dr. Amr Abdel-Aty, Head of Sharq District, the Engineering Department, Occupancy Department, Organization, Environment and Follow-up led a campaign to completely reopen the street and remove 300-meter-long concrete barriers in coordination with the concerned authorities and push the council’s equipment to raise New Jersey and facilitate traffic in front of citizens, and the return of life to normal.
Representative Ahmed Salam Al-Sharqawi, a member of the House of Representatives representing the city of Mansoura, said that he submitted a request for a briefing to open the street, and Counselor Rabie Qassem, Assistant Minister of Justice, responded, and the postponement took place for two weeks to inquire from the security authorities.
He added that through the Constitutional Affairs Committee, medicine was discussed in the House of Representatives, and the Assistant Minister of Justice for Court Buildings Affairs attended.
He added that the street was opened completely, after the security situation stabilized, as the compound was the only one surrounded by checkpoints, and the request was responded to by Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, and the security leaders and leaders of the Ministry of Justice, after the street had been closed since 2011.
