The European football governing body (UEFA) decided to start a new tournament from the realization that the value of international friendly matches is decreasing. The Nations League has been organized since 2018 with the aim of strengthening the 55 national teams under them and developing them with a more competitive mentality.
The line-up for the semi-finals of the third edition of UEFA’s successful tournament has been finalised. Italy will play against Spain in the fight to reach the final. The Netherlands and Croatia will meet in another match of the last four. The draw was held yesterday at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The four teams will battle it out at two venues in the Netherlands.
