Steps to borrow from a prepaid electricity meter recharge card:-
– Before the electricity in the meter ends, the meter gives an alarm by lighting the red lamp to indicate that the charging is nearing completion.
– When the electricity is disconnected from the meter as a result of the end of charging, it can be restarted again by inserting the meter card to use the reserve that operates the electricity for a period of hours.
– In the event that the reserve in the meter runs out, it is possible to borrow from the meter, by placing the card upside down in the meter again, to be borrowed for a period not exceeding 48 hours only.
And on how to return the borrowed balance, the value that was borrowed is deducted from the electricity meter for 48 hours after charging the meter card again, and inserting it in the place designated for it in the meter.
With regard to the fees deducted from the value of the balance of the electricity meter “Abu Kart”:
First: Deduction of the consumption difference:
– 24 pounds are deducted from the balance on the meter when the consumer reaches 101 kWh.
An amount of 135 pounds is deducted from the meter balance when the amount of consumption reaches 651 kWh.
An amount of EGP 170 is deducted from the balance of the prepaid meter when consumption reaches 1001 kWh.
Second: A deduction for customer service from the balance on the counter, which is calculated as follows:
The first tranche is from zero to 50 kilowatts (LE).
– The second tranche, from 51 to 100 kilowatts (2 pounds).
The third tranche, from zero to 200 kilowatts (6 pounds).
The fourth tranche, from 201 to 350 kilowatts (11 pounds).
The fifth tranche, from 351 to 650 kilowatts (15 pounds).
The sixth tranche, from 651 to 1,000 kilowatts (25 pounds).
The seventh tranche of more than 1,000 kilowatts (40 pounds).
Zero reading (9 pounds).
