Cairo Governorate has begun work on the implementation of two out of 7 new axes, to be established in the Marj area of Cairo Governorate.
Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, said that work has already begun on the trolley and Zakat Foundation axes.
Regarding the fate of real estate inconsistent with the new axes that are being established, the Deputy Governor of Cairo confirmed to Masrawy that work is being done to limit the real estate inconsistent with the paths of the axes in order to remove them after fairly compensating their owners.
Cairo Governorate is working on implementing 7 new traffic axes in the Al-Marg area in the eastern region of the governorate, in order to solve the traffic congestion crisis and make it easier for citizens.
The new axes that are being constructed in Al-Marj area include: (The western station axis from Al-Marj to Ramses – the axis of the Zakat Foundation from Nazlet Al-Dairy to the Foundation and Mostorod bridge – the axis of Al-Firdous and the Trolley Street – the axis of Abdullah Rifai Street to connect Muhammad Najeeb – the axis of Muhammad Najeeb – the axis of Street Martyr – Sheikh Mansour axis).
