Today, Wednesday, Engineer Mahmoud Nafie, head of the Alexandria Sanitary Company, followed up on the sanitation project in the second Abis area, accompanied by Representatives Ahmed Muhanna and Representatives Omar Al-Ghunaimi, members of the House of Representatives, and Amal Mahmoud, Director of the Roads and Bridges Directorate.
Nafie Ali confirmed the completion of the first phase of the project and that work is underway to finish the second phase, which will be delivered on the first of next May.
Nafie inspected the position of the tunnel project, due to the nature and population density of the region, and listened to the problems and demands of the people of the region.
Nafie instructed the executing contractor of the project to abide by the schedule for completing the project at the specified times, while adhering to the required quality standards and adhering to occupational health and safety procedures.
It is worth noting that the first phase of the project in the second Abis area is to increase the diameter of the network by 900 mm, followed by the second phase to establish branches other than the treatment plant, to serve the area with an integrated sewage system.
