Kickboxing players at City Club in Kafr El-Sheikh Club won the first places in the Republic Baraem Championship, which was held under the supervision of the Egyptian Federation for the game.
The players: “Omar Hosni Muhammad Al-Mawy won the first place in the Republic Championship for Buds in Kickboxing, Iyad Ahmed Suleiman won the first place, and Muhammad Tariq Muhammad won the second place,” in the Republic Championship for Buds.
9 players representing City Club Kafr El-Sheikh participated in the official Republic Championship for the stages of buds and achieved two gold medals and 7 silver medals in a strong surprise compared to their athletic age, which gives a positive indication in the near future that they will win more championships.
The Board of Directors of the City Company for the Management of Sports Clubs and Facilities responsible for City Club clubs decided to organize a ceremony honoring the City Club Kafr El-Sheikh champions at the company’s headquarters and to present them with certificates of appreciation to motivate them to continue excelling and winning more championships and titles, and to confirm the continuation of full support for them.
The City Company for the management of sports clubs and facilities, which owns City Club clubs, has begun to reap the fruits of its innovative plans and ideas to discover and nurture talents in governorates far from the capital, and to create champions representing Egyptian teams in all sports.
For example, the duo Abdullah Yehia and Darren Salah, players of City Club Kafr El-Sheikh and Banha, respectively, achieved third place under 14 years old, in the African Tennis Championships.
Three of the City Club players in El-Obour and Shebeen El-Koum branches won different medals in the Judo Championship, where “Omar Ahmed” won the gold medal, “Ahmed Maher” the silver medal and “Ziyad Abu Shady” the bronze medal, and the players were able to reach a strong level. It qualifies them to compete and win medals under the supervision of Captain Basil Al-Gharbawi, the Olympic coach, and Captain Hisham Mesbah, the Olympic champion.
The duo, Farida Islam and Omar Mohamed, players of City Club Club, won the Republic Championship for tennis under the age of 9, which was held in the city of Benha.
