Alexandria University announced the allocation of 250 scholarships for students and researchers to apply in the postgraduate program at the Faculty of Education, with a 50% reduction in the value of credit hours in the spring semester 2023 for the current academic year.
This came during a meeting of the Alexandria University Council, today, Wednesday, chaired by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, President of the University, and the deans and vice deans of the faculties.
The council also decided to allocate 25 scholarships for students applying to enroll in master’s and doctoral degrees at the College of Early Childhood Education, with a 50% reduction in the value of credit hours in the spring semester 2023 for the current academic year.
The Council approved the partnership agreement and the Francophone University Agency, the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Alexandria and the University of Cetti Pescara in Italy, and the Memorandum of Understanding between Alexandria University represented by the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Ural Federal University in Russia.
He also approved the cooperation agreement between the university represented by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, and the University of Dodoma in Tanzania, and the cooperation agreement with the Egyptian National Committee for Education, Science and Culture regarding the establishment of the UNESCO Chair in Child Education and Culture at Alexandria University, in addition to the memorandum of understanding with the University of Derna in the State of Libya.
The council approved the promotion of 19 faculty members, 10 to the position of professor and 9 to the position of assistant professor, the appointment of 17 teachers, the granting of 47 doctoral degrees, and 74 master’s degrees in various scientific disciplines.
