Police have arrested five persons with sharp weapons involved in the attack and robbery at the residence of Chinese nationals working in a power plant under construction of Meghna Group in Sonargaon, Narayanganj. On Tuesday night, raids were conducted in different areas of the upazila and they were arrested.
The arrested persons are Omar Farooq (32), Rabin (26), Imran (22), Ali Akkas (20) and Lehaj Uddin (52). Several dollars and cash stolen from Chinese nationals were recovered from them.
