US Treasury: imposing sanctions on 10 Iranians and an institution affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards

The United States imposed new sanctions on Iran, targeting 10 individuals, against the backdrop of “suppressing” the protests that began last September, following the killing of Mahsa Amini.
And the US Treasury said – according to the American (Al-Hurra) channel, today, Tuesday – that the new sanctions included the cooperative institution of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and senior officials, including the deputy minister of intelligence and four leaders of the Revolutionary Guards.
She added that the new sanctions were carried out in coordination with the European Union.
