The three arrested accused are James Bepari son of Shamchul Bepari of Kuti Bamondanga village of that union, Milan Bepari son of Mojibar Bepari of Maliani village and Akhlad Hossain son of deceased Hafez Munsi. They were arrested from their respective homes.
Regarding the complaint, Amjad Hossain told Prothom Alo, ‘The current chairman Asaduzzaan and his men attacked me at Bandhu Bazar last Sunday at around 10 pm. I have given a written complaint to Nageshwari police station in this incident. Enraged by this incident, some of my supporters attacked him (Asaduzzaman) around 8:30 pm yesterday. I was not there. I learned about this later.’
