Books – Mahmoud Al-Shorbaji:
Today, Tuesday, the Third Circuit of the Supreme State Security Criminal Court, held in the Badr Courts Complex, is considering the retrial of the accused, Ahmed Alaa El-Din Abdel Rahman, in the case known in the media as the “Mohammed Mahmoud events.”
The session will be held under the chairmanship of Counselor Wajdi Muhammad Abdel Moneim, with the membership of the advisors Wael Muhammad Omran, Hossam El Din Fathi Amin, and the secretaries of Mahmoud Shalaby and Sameh Shaaban.
The Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Mohamed Saeed El-Sherbiny, earlier ruled the death penalty for two defendants, 15 years imprisonment for 8 others, and a year with work for a defendant, for accusing them of burning a police car and killing a recruit in the events of Mohamed Mahmoud Street in May 2013.
