Mizanur Rahman, the top coach of Saad followers, told Prothom Alo, ‘Since 2018, the field is under their (Zubair fans’) possession. They are performing ijtema earlier (first phase). Holding the field, but not now. Next year we will observe Ijtema in the first phase. So the field will not be handed over to anyone. We will take care of everything in the field. We have already spoken to the Home Minister along with the Gazipur Deputy Commissioner and the Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
Supporters of Maulana Zubair are adamant about the field. They want to take over the field tomorrow from the district administration according to the pre-decision. The top trainer of Zubair’s followers, Khandaker Mejbah Uddin, said, ‘The district administration is supposed to explain the field to us, so we are relying on them. Hopefully, the previous decision will be right. We will not go to any ruckus.’
