Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his country produces air defense missiles three times more than the United States produces missiles such as the Patriot, indicating that Russia’s production of these missiles is comparable to the entire global production.
“The combat action shows that the Russian air defense systems are one of the best air defenses in the world,” the Russian President said – during a meeting with the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, bordering Ukraine today, pointing out that these systems operate accurately.
The governor of the Russian province of Belgorod announced yesterday, Monday, that the air defense media had confronted Ukrainian targets over the city of Belgorod and in the surrounding area.
In a related context, Deputy Speaker of the Russian Parliament (Duma) Mikhail Sheremet warned that the supply of German tanks to Ukraine “will be considered a hostile step, forcing the Russian army to resort to much more powerful weapons in the special operation.”
The Russian official said – according to “Russia Today” channel – “The delivery of German tanks to Ukraine will be considered a military step, and this matter will give our army the right to use much more powerful weapons in the special operation, which the enemy does not even know about.”
He added that NATO is stubbornly pushing European countries to open a military confrontation with Russia, and said: “The United States is ready to abandon not only Ukraine, but also the European Union to achieve its ambitions and achieve economic and political gains.”
“We see that the Germans are resisting the pressure because they remember how their last military offensive against Russia ended,” he added.
