President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi responded to the welcome message published by Modi, the Prime Minister of India.
President El-Sisi said, “I am very happy and proud to visit friendly India and participate in the Republic Day celebrations as a main guest, which makes us more determined to continue strengthening bilateral relations and the distinguished coordination between us. I look forward to fruitful meetings and discussions with my dear friend Modi.”
This came in response to the message of the Prime Minister of India welcoming President El-Sisi’s visit, in which he said: “A warm welcome to India, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi. Your historic visit to India as chief guest of our Republic Day celebrations is a matter of immense happiness for all Indians. I look forward to our discussions tomorrow.” .
This came according to what Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, posted on his official Facebook page.
