Dr. Abbas Al-Halabi, Minister of Education and Higher Education in the Lebanese caretaker government, received Rev. Dr. Andre Zaki, Head of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, and President of the Association of Evangelical Churches in the Middle East, today, Monday, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the presence of Dr. Rev. Riad Jarjour, President of the Culture Forum. and Dialogue in Lebanon, and Rose Angela Jarjour, Secretary General of the Association of Evangelical Churches in the Middle East.
Dr. Abbas Al-Halabi praised the nature of the Egyptian-Lebanese relations, which are characterized by love and cooperation.
For his part, “Zaki” expressed his great pride in the visit, and the depth of the strong relations that bind the Egyptian and Lebanese people. The head of the Evangelical Church said: “We pray for the stability of dear Lebanon, and we have a deeply rooted loving relationship with the Lebanese people.”
The dialogue dealt with the importance of the role played by civil society in the delicate stage in the Arab region, as well as education affairs and the challenges facing the emerging generations. different community.
