The Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa clarified the ruling on slaughtering something for God in the month of Rajab, and whether it is obligatory or not.
Dar Al-Iftaa said on its Facebook page: “Slaughtering something for God Almighty in the month of Rajab is a legitimate matter, not an obligation.
And Dar Al-Iftaa supported her words by saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family: “Sacrifice to God in any month, whatsoever.” As for his saying: There is no obligatory sacrifice.
