Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, confirmed that international public schools offer an international educational model based on curricula designed with the latest trends in the world, explaining that international public schools have achieved great successes in light of the high demand for them, which confirms the community’s confidence in the educational system, and we seek to expand in established in the next period.
The minister said, in a statement today, Tuesday, during his inspection of the international public school in Zahraa, Nasr City, that the international public schools are sponsored by the state to provide distinguished educational services, indicating that the ministry aims to expand the numbers of these schools during the next stage and work to provide all the necessary capabilities for this quality. In addition to teaching and preparing classes in an appropriate manner, in addition to the competence of teachers and their adherence to modern methods of teaching.
He added that the international public schools aim to provide an opportunity for parents who wish to educate their children in an international education at lower costs, stressing that the schools support (the British system – the International Baccalaureate) with appropriate expenses.
The minister explained that the international public schools come within the framework of the efforts made by the ministry to provide an international educational service with lower expenses, noting that the ministry has started since 2014 to implement the “International Baccalaureate Curriculum IB” in three distinct public schools with the help of the private sector to provide an opportunity for distinguished education. At all levels in order to raise the level of education in Egypt as a step to keep pace with global developments.
During his visit, Dr. Reda Hijazi inspected a number of school classes and was assured of the regular progress of the educational process. He also inspected the school laboratory during the science class for the fourth grade of primary school, and listened to the teacher’s explanation, and the extent of the students’ interaction. The minister also discussed the students in the practical experience they receive, and raised They ask several questions to find out the students’ benefit and ability to understand and learn.
The minister also inspected the ICT lab, the language lab, and the students participated in listening to the teacher’s explanation in the English language class, and he also watched the sports activity during the physical education class.
It is worth noting that the international public schools operate under the British system, and it is a major project whose philosophy is based on providing a distinguished educational service at an appropriate cost to a segment of the Egyptian society, with the technical support of the International Schools Owners Foundation in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Egyptian international schools that offer IB curricula include the following branches: The Egyptian International School in Sheikh Zayed, The Egyptian International School in Mearag, The Egyptian International School in El Tagamoa.
