A German human rights organization called ‘Fortify Rights’ has helped make the case. According to one of their sources, 6 women and 10 men are among the complainants against Myanmar’s military junta. They all witnessed the crimes and brutality of the military junta. They are ethnic minority and Muslim Rohingya community from different regions of Myanmar.
In this regard, Fortify Rights Executive Director Matthew Smith said, despite international attention, Myanmar’s army still enjoys complete impunity. It has to be prescribed. At the same time the matter should be resolved.
The German media Der Spiegel and the Afengalis Press Service reported on the case, saying that the military junta in Myanmar will celebrate the second anniversary of their coup next week. The junta is cracking down on its opponents in the country. There are reports of attacks and harsh torture on opponents.
