3 people were injured in a collision, on Tuesday evening, between 3 private cars in the Suez Canal Tunnel in the Muharram Bey area in the central Alexandria neighborhood, while the accident caused traffic confusion.
Muharram Bey Police Department received a report from the Rescue Police Department stating that a collision had occurred at the entrance to the Suez Canal Tunnel, and the department and traffic officers, accompanied by ambulances, moved to the accident site.
The examination showed that 3 private cars collided with the aforementioned tunnel, which resulted in the injury of 3 people, and they were transported by ambulance to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, and the cars were withdrawn from the tunnel and traffic was re-run.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion of an angel’s car caused the driver to lose control of it, crossed the middle of the road island, and collided with two other cars in the opposite direction.
The necessary report of the incident has been issued at Muharram Bey Police Station, and it is being presented to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
