Engineer Heba El-Khouly, responsible for the electronic platform of the Cairo International Book Fair, said that we have a major development in the electronic payment services for tickets and publishing houses in the activities of the book fair, which is scheduled to start today, Wednesday, adding that there is an application on the phone that was launched for the current session to follow up seminars, a book or publishing houses.
She added, during an intervention on the Ambassador Aziza program broadcast on the DMC channel, that the application is called the Cairo International Book Fair, and for the exhibition, it enables tickets to be booked, and it follows the publishing houses and publications that have been uploaded to the application.
And she added that the visits reached about 128 million visits on the website, and 102 million browsers on the books, confirming that 100,000 tickets have been booked before the launch of the exhibition today on the website so far.
It is noteworthy that the 54th session of the Cairo International Book Fair comes under the slogan: “On the Name of Egypt – Together: We Read… We Think… We Create.” It will be held from January 25 to February 6.
