Barcelona holds the top spot in the La Liga points table. Xavi Hernandez’s side beat Getafe 1-0 at the Camp Nou last night. In this victory, Barca retained the top spot with 44 points in 17 matches. Real Madrid is 3 points behind in second place.
Barca’s win against Getafe, who are 16th in the points table, did not come easy. Without Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati and Rafineira handled the attack. The winning goal, however, was Pedri’s.
In the 34th minute of the match, the Spanish midfielder put Barca ahead by sending Rafinha’s ball into the empty net. This is Pedri’s fourth goal in the current La Liga, fifth overall.
