Today, Monday, the Third Circuit, Terrorism, of the Supreme State Security Court, held in the Badr Courts Complex, is considering the trial session of 73 accused members of terrorist groups in the case known in the media as the “assembly cell” No. 11926 of 2022 Fifth Settlement felonies, registered with No. 1237 of 2022 in New Cairo Colleges and No. 627 of 2021 Supreme State Security.
The session will be held under the chairmanship of Counselor Wajdi Muhammad Abdel Moneim, with the membership of Counselors Wael Muhammad Omran, Hossam El Din Fathi Amin, and the Secretariat of Ahmed Sobhi Abbas.
The investigation authorities of the Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the transfer of 73 accused members of terrorist groups, including 47 imprisoned suspects and 26 fugitive suspects, to an urgent trial before the competent court.
The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the assignment of lawyers who have a role to defend the accused, and it also ordered the speedy arrest and bringing of the fugitive suspects.
