Today, Monday, the engineer, Hassan Rashdan, head of the Rashdan Group for Architecture and a pioneer of Islamic architecture in Egypt and the Arab world, passed away after presenting a career that spanned 45 years.
Masrawy monitors the most prominent works of engineer Hassan Rashdan, which came as follows:
– Designed Al-Fattah Al-Alim Mosque in the New Administrative Capital.
During the 45 years, he presented more than 300 architectural projects, including more than 150 mosques.
– He designed many mosques, including: Al-Rahman Al-Rahim located in Salah Salem, Omar bin Abdulaziz, Beni Suef, the Police Academy, Ahl Al-Bayt in Mrs. Nafisa, as well as the design of the College of Holy Qur’an Sciences at Al-Azhar University in Bahnasa.
– Help develop the art of building mosques, in order to keep pace with the modern era without prejudice to the foundations of Islamic architecture.
– He is considered the dean of consultants specialized in building mosques, as the American Encyclopedia who is who chose him years ago as a member of its global encyclopedia, as one of the distinguished in the field of architecture, especially the art of Islamic architecture, which he distinguished during the past years.
