President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received this evening a phone call from President Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the call dealt with reviewing the preparatory preparations for the upcoming annual African Summit, which is scheduled to take place during the month of February.
The President congratulated President Macky Sall on the successful presidency of the African Union during the year 2022, which came in a year that witnessed many international and regional challenges, which had great repercussions on all political, economic and social levels in the African continent.
from his side; President Macky Sall expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude for the Egyptian support to his country in various aspects of continental work during its presidency of the African Union, which reflected Egypt’s keenness, under the leadership of the President, to uphold the common interests of African countries and to search for solutions to the issues and crises facing the continent.
The Spokesman added that the call also dealt with discussions on the developments of the most prominent files and issues of common concern at the regional and international levels.
