Algeria – (AA):
The Algerian Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Said Chenegriha, directed an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of a military helicopter crash, Monday evening, in the state of “Ain Defla” west of Algiers, which resulted in the death of its crew consisting of 3 soldiers.
According to the statement of the Algerian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Said Chanegriha, in his own name and on behalf of all members of the Algerian army, offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, asking “God Almighty to inspire them with beautiful patience and solace and to cover them with His vast mercy.”
A military helicopter of the type “MI-171” had crashed this evening, following a programmed training mission, in the wilaya of Ain Defla in the first military region, west of the capital, killing the helicopter crew consisting of Colonel Manari Murad, Major Dahmani Musa Muhammad and Contract Sergeant Shabua Osama. .
