The suspected gunman fled after the attack. The Los Angeles Times reported that the owner of a restaurant near the scene said people who took shelter in his restaurant told him they saw a man walking around with a machine gun. According to the police, efforts are underway to find the suspected gunman.
With this incident, gun attack happened for the fifth time in the United States in the last one month. Earlier in May, 21 people were killed in a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Last November, five people were killed in a shooting at a Colorado nightclub.
