Today, Sunday, the Third Chamber of Terrorism of the Supreme State Security Court decided to postpone the trial of 19 defendants in the case of “peace riots,” which bore No. 20336 of 2019 Second Peace Offenses, to the next February 26 session, to complete the pleading.
The session was held under the chairmanship of Counselor Wajdi Muhammad Abdel-Moneim, with the membership of the advisors Wael Muhammad Omran, Hossam El-Din Fathi Amin, and the secretaries of Mahmoud Shalaby and Sameh Shaaban.
The prosecution charged the defendants in Case No. 20336 of 2019 with the second peace felonies, registered under No. 3256 of 2019 in East Cairo, with the use of firecrackers and fireworks, gathering in front of the second peace station, creating chaos, possessing firearms without a license, and using explosives to endanger the lives of citizens.
