(Masrawy):
Dar Al-Iftaa said that it is not permissible for a person to gloat when calamities befall someone, whether in death or other calamities. It is a reprehensible trait that upright souls disapprove of, and those who are virtuous do not shy away from it, and therefore the Islamic Sharia forbids it. On the authority of Wathila bin Al-Asqa’, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “Do not gloat over your brother, for God will have mercy on him and afflict you.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi.
And she added in a post on the official page of the house on Facebook: “We remind those who practice this bad habit with God’s creation that the law of life that God Almighty has decided is that man does not remain in one condition, for he lives life sad days and happy days. God Almighty: {If a wound afflicts you, then a similar wound has afflicted the people, and those days We rotate them among the people.} (Al-Imran: 140). From what has been mentioned, the answer to the question is known.
