Remand denied
Meanwhile, Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Dev rejected the remand application of 25 people arrested including the school student in the case filed by the police after the hearing.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of City Police (Prosecution) Kamrul Hasan told Prothom Alo that the Kotwali police station-police applied for a five-day remand to interrogate 25 people including the president of Nagar Jubo Dal, Mosharraf Hossain, former president of Chittagong South District Chhatra Dal, Sahidul Alam. After the hearing, the court rejected the remand application.
