WhatsApp introduced a new feature that allows its users to send messages to themselves for safekeeping.
The new feature is called “Message Yourself” or (send a message to yourself), and it can be used to save reminders, notes, links, audio clips, photos and videos, or even to conduct a private conversation.
The “Send a message to yourself” feature uses the same full encryption as regular WhatsApp conversations, according to The Verge.
And the application says in the description of the feature: “Create a chat to correspond with yourself, where it will be convenient to store notes and reminders that are synchronized between devices. Click on Search for a chat and select messages for yourself.”
And added during the current week, in the new update, another feature that allows searching for chats by date, in addition to that, users have a setting that allows them to specify who can see them online.
