After talking to the family of the deceased youth and the police, it is said that this morning local people found the body of a youth lying in the field of the CDA residential area of the upazila. On receiving the information, the police recovered the body around 10 am and sent it to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Abu Taher, the father of the deceased youth, said that his son used to do business at Fisarighat in Kayes city. Kayes used to travel to and from the city every day on business. Kayes left home yesterday morning as usual. Kayes’s mobile number was switched off after two o’clock. Since then there was no trace of him. Kayes did not return home at night. Abu Taher claimed that he did not know if anyone had enmity with his son. He does not know who killed him.
