Engineer Mahmoud Al-Anani, Chairman of the Poultry Producers Union, said that the period between November 24 and December 24 witnessed a gap in the entry of breeders and producers into fattening courses, and witnessed executions of chicks, which was clearly reflected in recent times.

The head of the Poultry Producers Union pointed out that factories obtaining feed directly with the availability of the dollar is a positive indicator and contributes to strengthening expectations of a price decline in the coming period.
Al-Anani revealed: “Since December 24, we have witnessed the release of fodder in large quantities, indicating that the price of fattening reached 40 pounds instead of the breeders who have recently suffered huge losses that no one can bear,” expecting that these positive indicators will lead to a decline in poultry and egg prices during Second half of February with the end of fattening cycles.
The head of the Poultry Producers Union pointed out that the Poultry Producers Union will negotiate during the coming period to provide frozen poultry, coinciding with preparations for the holy month of Ramadan.
