Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station Parvez Islam told Prothom Alo that Biplab Zaman died in a house in the residential area of journalists in Mirpur. A rotten smell is coming from his house. It is believed that he died a few days ago.
65-year-old Biplab Zaman lived alone in that house. The owner of the flat is Rafiqul Islam, former senior message consultant of Financial Express. He told Prothom Alo that Biplab Zaman’s wife, two daughters and a son live in another area of Dhaka. After receiving the news, they left for Mirpur.
