Qalyubia – Osama Aladdin:
The accused of destroying a modern radar, during an attempt to steal it, on the ring road in Qalyub, Qalyubia Governorate, made detailed confessions before the investigation authorities.
In his confessions, the accused added that he used to steal from public roads, and while passing on the road he noticed the presence of a large metal object, and continued: “I did not know that it was a radar for cars, so I decided to steal it and profit from it.”
And the accused continued, I tried to disassemble the radar to steal it, but it was fixed on a stand, so I could not disassemble it and found it difficult to do so, so I decided to destroy it, and I did not know that there was a camera inside that was filming me.
The investigation authorities in Qalyubia ordered the detention of a person with criminal information, accusing him of destroying a modern radar on the ring road in Qalyub after failing to steal it. They also requested investigations into the incident and the formation of a committee to count the damage caused to the administration.
