According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, the augmented reality glasses said to be being prepared by Apple they are not going to be launched before 2025 and it is possible that the project has already been shelved. According to him, the company’s priority remains the launch of a mixed reality headset, with the package costing around $3,000. Gurman claims that a cheaper version using iPhone-like materials might be released in 2024 or 2025 and have a starting price close to $1,500, as is the case with the Meta Quest Pro now. Of course, the price of $3,000 is not such that it will lead to mass purchases by consumers, but it fits with Apple’s policy of offering high-end products at prices that do not appeal to everyone.
