Today, Friday, the Assiut Sheikhdom Complex held its regular session, at the headquarters of the Fourth Evangelical Church, to hold elections for the seats of the president and vice-president after the end of the term of office of president and deputy for its session.
Priest Bassem Adly Samuel, pastor of the First Evangelical Church in Assiut, was chosen as president of the complex to succeed Rev. Sadiq Mosaad after the end of his tenure as head of the seat, and the renewal of Sheikh Helmy Samuel as vice-president for a second term.
The Synod congratulated the president and the new deputy. The Synod also thanked Rev. Sadiq Massaad for presiding over the Synod during the past period and the effort exerted during the previous session.
