The Chinese Ambassador to Cairo, Liao Lichang, expressed his happiness and appreciation for the Egyptian efforts made to resume the operation of Chinese flights to Egypt, stressing that China has taken all preventive measures towards its tourist delegations to various countries of the world.
During the press conference held at Cairo Airport, on the sidelines of the arrival of the first Chinese tourist delegation to Egypt, the Chinese ambassador expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian efforts and their assurance that Egypt will not impose any restrictions on travelers from China to Egypt.
The Chinese ambassador to Cairo said that Egypt is on the list of the first countries to be included to receive Chinese tourism, among many countries in the world to which China operated flights as of the beginning of this year.
The Chinese ambassador affirmed that the Chinese foreign minister attaches great importance to operating Chinese flights to Cairo, and stressed the provision of all facilities for flights between the two countries.
Today, Friday, Cairo International Airport received the first Chinese tourist group, after a 3-year hiatus, since the beginning of the Corona epidemic crisis, numbering 28 passengers coming from the Chinese city of Chengdu on board Sichuan Airlines.
