Russia is using BMP-T terminators to assist tankers on the battlefield, according to a BBC report, citing the UK Ministry of Defense. Russia built the armored vehicle after the wars in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
The United Kingdom appears to have deployed a fleet of these Terminators in Ukraine. According to the country, the number of armored vehicles in the fleet is not more than 10. They are unlikely to have much of an impact on the Ukraine war.
According to a tweet from the UK Ministry of Defense, the deployment of the BMP Terminator in Severodonetsk means that a special Russian force called the Central Grouping of Forces is stationed there. The forces suffered heavy casualties in the vicinity of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, at the start of the Russian offensive.
