China says another 63 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Beijing in the past 24 hours.
Of those cases, 56 were detected in controlled areas in Beijing and seven during community testing, Liu Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told a news conference.

The city has recorded 1,399 cases since April 22, Liu said.
