Books – Abdel Hakim Taha:
Al-Ahly’s technical staff settled on the map of preparation for the two matches of Algeria’s ES Setif in the African Champions League semi-finals scheduled for Saturday, May 7 and 14.
And Yalla Koura reporter learned that Al-Khatib discussed today at the meeting of the Planning Committee, which was held in the presence of Hussam Ghaly, the committee’s coordinator, the report of the technical staff about a claim for that match.
Al-Ahly’s official website stated that Al-Khatib, after consulting with the technical staff, decided to enter the team into a closed camp, starting from the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, until the end of the two matches, and for the technical staff to invest in this camp and implement the physical and technical programs that it deems appropriate from his point of view.
A source said that the team will enter a closed camp starting from Tuesday and for a period of 12 days until returning from Algeria on Sunday after next.
He added that the Planning Committee agreed to travel to Algeria by private plane, with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, presenting the matter to the board of directors.
He explained that Mahmoud Al-Khatib will head the Red Team mission to Algeria, accompanied by Hossam Ghaly, unless any other circumstances occur during the coming period.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly tied with Ceramica Cleopatra (1-1) yesterday, Saturday, in the Egyptian Premier League, which was held at the Arab Contractors Stadium, so that the Red Genie remained without any victory in the last three rounds of the local competition.
