Milan consolidated its lead in the Italian Football League by defeating its guest Fiorentina 1-0 during the match that brought them together today, Sunday, in the thirty-fifth stage of the competition, which also witnessed the victory of Turin over Empoli 3/1 and Juventus over Venezia 2/1.
Milan owes this victory to its player, Rafael Leao, who scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute
Milan raised its score to 77 points at the top of the standings, and Fiorentina’s score stopped at 56 points in seventh place.
In the second match, Torino overturned its goal in front of its host Empoli to win 3/1
Empoli advanced with a goal scored by Simon Zurkovsky in the 56th minute, before Andrea Belotti scored three goals (hat-trick) for Torino in the 78th and 87th minutes from penalty kicks and the sixth of overtime.
The match witnessed the expulsion of Valerio Ferri and Peter Stojanovic, Empoli players, in the 61st and 85th minutes.
Torino raised its score to 47 points in tenth place, and Empoli’s balance stopped at 37 points in fourteenth place.
In the third match, veteran defender Leonardo Bonucci led his team, Juventus, to an exciting victory over its guest, Venezia, 2-1.
And the first half ended with Juventus leading with a goal scored by Bonucci in the seventh minute.
Mattia Aramo equalized for Venezia in the 71st minute, but after only five minutes Bonucci scored the winning goal for Juventus.
The win raised Juventus’ tally to 69 points in fourth place, and Venezia’s balance stopped at 22 points in the last place, bringing a new step closer to relegation.
