Porto club president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has named Algeria’s Rabah Madjer the greatest player in the Portuguese team’s history.
Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa (84 years old) has headed the Portuguese club Porto since 1982, while Rabah Madjer (63 years) wore the uniform of this team between 1985 and 1991.
In his latest press statement to his club Porto, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa said: “I think Madjer is the most complete player during my presidency of FC Porto. He was playing with the right and left feet, and he also shot with them, he was aggressive (not afraid of defenders), fast, and also good at playing with the head, he had fabulous dribbling. It seems to me it was flawless.”
