On Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that it was unacceptable that there were US nuclear weapons on the territory of a number of European countries, adding that it was time to return US nuclear weapons from Europe to the United States.
Russia Today reported that Lavrov expressed his dissatisfaction with the matter, as he considered it unacceptable for Russia, and it was time to return it to the United States.
The same speaker pointed out that the European Union countries are trying to move away from honest face-to-face dialogue and are choosing the path of sanctions, and that Russia expects to hold the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty conference.
Lavrov added that the tragedy of Ukraine is the result of the complicity of Western sponsors of the criminal regime that has formed there, stressing that Russia is very concerned about the situation in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which has become the result of Western policy.
He concluded that the achievement of legally binding security guarantees by NATO countries is of fundamental importance to Russia.
