Many men resort to a habit that may be a bit strange when spending some time in front of the TV screens, and we find him holding the remote control and moving from one channel to another.
Some may consider it a strange behavior, but it has a psychological explanation mentioned by Dr. Nadia Jamal, a family relations consultant, and it is as follows.
A sense of leadership, this is what drives a man to hold the remote control and move between channels a lot.
Love of control and possession.
Do what he used to do every day.
The love of conviction, and therefore from his point of view, family members should remain silent and listen to the father’s decisions.
Sometimes the husband is asleep, but he wakes up, switches from one channel to another on the TV, and then continues to sleep again.
Escape from talking and sharing opinions with the wife and children.
