The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade emphasized the interest in establishing grouped service centers, as part of a decent life initiative, to provide all services to citizens in the Egyptian countryside, pointing out that the combined centers will be within one place to which the citizen goes to obtain the service, and will work with the mechanization system, to provide services to citizens in an appropriate manner. and required speed.
This comes within the framework of the state’s plan to improve the quality of government services provided to the citizen, and to develop supply offices and turn them into developed service centers, in conjunction with providing the service via electronic platforms on the international information network (the Internet) within the framework of the state’s digital transformation.
It is worth noting that a report issued by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade confirmed that 35 supply offices were developed during the year 2021, and converted into developed service centers, in addition to the completion of the development of 21 service centers, at a cost of 70 million pounds.
The report of the Ministry of Supply indicated that measures are being taken to develop (11) directorate of supply and establish citizen service centers.
The development and modernization of the supply offices was not limited to the development of the place only, but also took care of the employees working inside these places, and gave them training courses to deal with modern technology, and treat the public well.
As the Ministry of Supply was keen to train the workers inside these centers on how to improve the performance of services, and the citizen’s satisfaction with the services provided to him, and his access to the service in an appropriate manner.
The Ministry of Supply seeks to complete its plan to develop supply offices at the level of the Republic, and turn them into developed service centers, by the end of 2022, as well as train the workforce inside these offices on modern technological means, within the framework of the state’s orientation towards digital transformation and upgrading the services provided to the citizen.
The Ministry of Supply aims to develop 600 service centers. The development of 300 developed service centers at the governorate level has been completed, and the plan to develop 600 service centers is being completed by the end of 2022, within the framework of the state’s plan to develop supply offices within the framework of the national project for digital transformation.
